SELF REMAKING

The Self-Remaking approach to life and learning was developed by Prof. Caspi over several decades in his work with experimental education.  Prof. Caspi offers his approach, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci and other icons of creativity, to every thinking person who wishes to move beyond self-imposed limits and perceived dependence on teachers and others. Self-Remaking rests on two essential experiential complexes of thought and behavior - "setting out," and the nature and wisdom of children before they adopt adult behaviors and rigid attitudes. Activities involved in setting out, and an unprejudiced look at the thoughts and words of children, form a contextual background for the suggestions for self-directed change offered in this work. This work stimulates the reader into examining personal aspirations, preferences and dreams, and encourages the quest for new pathways through discarding preconceived notions, juggling new ideas with humor and open-mindedness, and exploring options in a way that is unique to each individual
